Privacy Policy
Who we are
This policy explains how Koja d'Or SA collects, uses, and protects personal data when you visit kojador.com, make an enquiry, or stay with us. The data controller is Koja d'Or SA (UID CHE-132.707.280), Chemin de Pierra-Barna 20, 1934 Le Châble, Switzerland. You can reach us at info@kojador.com or +41 27 552 88 89.
We process personal data in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (nFADP) and, where it applies to guests in the European Union, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
What we collect
When you send an enquiry we collect the details you provide: your name, email address, telephone number, preferred stay dates, the property you are interested in, and the content of your message. If we then correspond with you or arrange a stay, we collect the information needed to do so, such as guest details, preferences, and billing information.
When you browse the site our systems record limited technical data, such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you visit, for security and to keep the site working properly. The site has no user accounts and collects nothing more than this without your action.
Why we use it
We use your data to respond to your enquiries and to prepare and manage your stay, which are steps taken at your request before and under a contract. We use technical data in our legitimate interest in operating a secure and reliable website. Where we use analytics or marketing cookies, we do so only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for automated decision making.
Who we share it with
We share data with service providers who help us run the website and our business, under contracts that limit how they may use it: Vercel (website hosting), Sanity (content management), Resend (email delivery of enquiries), Mapbox (property location maps), Google (embedded property documents), and Vimeo (video). Within Koja d'Or SA, access is limited to the team members who need it to handle your enquiry or stay. We may also share data where the law requires it or with our professional advisers.
International transfers
Some of our providers process data outside Switzerland and the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where they do, we rely on recognised safeguards such as adequacy decisions and standard contractual clauses to protect your data.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry correspondence for up to twenty four months after our last contact, so that we can pick up the conversation if you return. Records connected to a completed stay are kept for as long as Swiss law requires, which is generally ten years for accounting records. Technical logs are kept for short periods for security purposes.
Your rights
You may ask us at any time for access to the personal data we hold about you, and for it to be corrected, deleted, or restricted. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests, ask for your data in a portable format, and withdraw any consent you have given. To exercise any of these rights, write to info@kojador.com and we will respond promptly.
If you believe we have not handled your data properly, you may complain to the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or, if you are in the European Union, to your local data protection authority.
Security
All traffic to and from the site is encrypted. Access to personal data is protected by authentication and limited to those who need it. We review our security arrangements regularly.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site and our services evolve. The current version is always available on this page. This version is dated 10 July 2026.
