Chalet 1936 is a seven-bedroom architectural statement, as striking as the immense alpine landscapes that surround it. Here, pop-art flair meets chalet elegance, creating a home that is both bold and deeply refined. From the moment you step inside, sweeping mountain and valley views unfold across meticulously crafted interiors.
Every detail has been considered: antique wood beams, oak floors, natural stone sinks, and traditional alpine craftsmanship are seamlessly paired with roll-top copper baths, contemporary lighting, iconic artworks, and luxurious fabrics. The result is a residence that embodies modern opulence with timeless depth.
The main entrance, on the second floor, opens into the chalet’s central living and entertaining spaces. An expansive lounge with open fireplace invites relaxation, its sliding doors leading onto one of several south-facing balconies. The adjoining dining space, seating up to 16, sets the stage for evenings of exceptional gastronomy, prepared by your private chef in the extensive open kitchen, where every detail has been designed for both performance and beauty.

The lower floors are dedicated to wellness and leisure. In the private spa, the 8 × 3-metre pool with swim jets, a glass hammam, and a fully equipped gym create space to restore and recharge. A cedar hot tub, set outside with uninterrupted views, offers the ultimate alpine indulgence.
Entertainment is at the heart of Chalet 1936. A dedicated cinema room, games room with table tennis, and a private bar ensure moments of connection for families and friends alike.

Across five floors, the chalet accommodates 12 adults and 4 children in seven individually designed en-suite bedrooms. The top floor is reserved for the master suite, a sanctuary with roll-top bath, shower, dressing room, private fireplace, and balcony. The floor below hosts five further suites: three double bedrooms with balcony access, a bespoke children’s room with two sets of handcrafted bunks (sleeping four), and a queen en-suite. On the lower level, a twin en-suite and a separate staff apartment with private entrance complete the layout.

For seamless access, an elevator serves the first four floors. A ski room with boot warmers and external parking for two cars ensures every practical need is met with discretion.
Chalet 1936 is not only a home in the Alps, but a statement of alpine living at its most elevated.

Perched high above the Rhône Valley, Verbier is a place where high-altitude adventure and refined living coexist in flawlessrare harmony. Known for its legendary off-piste freeride terrain and cosmopolitan atmosphere, the village draws a global community of adrenaline seekers ing explorers and connoisseurs, all seeking something beyond the ordinary.

Here, the thrill of the slopes meets the warmth of Swiss hospitality. Days begin with panoramic runs and end with vintage wine in hand, surrounded by sun-soaked terraces, private art collections, and the glow of crackling fires. But Verbier’s appeal goes far beyond the mountain. After dark, the village comes alive with intimate bars, private lounges, and celebrated nightspots that hum with glamour.

Its culinary scene is equally compelling, from rustic alpine kitchens serving generations-old recipes, to award-winning fine dining establishments led by visionary chefs. Every meal is an occasion, every table an invitation to linger. And yet, for all its sophistication, Verbier never forgets its roots. This is still a place where chalets are passed down through generations, where locals greet you by name, and where the spirit of the Valais is present in every detail: generous, grounded, and quietly proud.

At Koja d’Or, we’ve chosen homes in Verbier that reflect this duality, chalets that balance raw beauty with refined design, privacy with proximity, and simplicity with soul. Whether you come for the powder, the festivals, or simply the peace, Verbier invites you to arrive fully; and leave fuller still.
